FACE MASK POLICY

Mandatory Face Mask Policy
Quality Living Home Care, LLC has established a mandatory face mask policy. All employees, while within a client’s home, must have a face mask on. Employees are still to practice social distancing with the client and with others in the home unless they are providing personal care or transferring a client.
If we receive information from a client, family of the client, or if we observe the employee not wearing their mask, the following disciplinary action will take place: a disciplinary write up on the employee’s file and this will negatively affect their following review and potential raise. As a reminder, 3 write up’s is the maximum an employee can have without termination.
If the employee continues to not wear their mask, the 1,000 hour bonus will not be given for the upcoming bonus. For instance, if the employee has worked 4,500 hours, they will not receive a bonus on the 5,000 hour bonus. They will continue to receive the 1,000 hour bonus starting at 6,000 hours.
We also ask, that when off the clock and you are around others, to please practice social distancing and wear a mask. All employees work with the elderly or with an immune-compromised client and it is important to keep them safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We appreciate all efforts that our staff have given so far with this pandemic. We ask that you continue practicing universal precautions, as well as social distancing and wearing a mask until further notice.
